Helpful Eating Tip #20

Drink hot water with lemon.  A fresh lemon added to your drinking water will make your drinking water more alkaline, helping your body’s PH levels become more alkaline too and less acidic.*
 

Fresh Salad Recipe #20
Cucumber Mint Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 each english cucumber, sliced into very thin rings
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt, plain and full fat
  • 2 tbsp lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, sliced thin
  • salt and fresh pepper, to taste

Directions:

 
1. Mix the ingredients in a bowl.
2. Let it sit for about 20 minutes. This will soften it and the flavors will meld together, but the crunch will remain. Serves 8
