WORD OF THE MONTH!
We here at Thomas' Tails invite you to find the word of the month! When you stop by to purchase pet products at TT tell the cashier at checkout that you know the word of the month, tell them the word, and you will receive 5% off of one item!
Here are the rules:
-Each month there will be a word within an article. The word will be in parenthesis and in bold: it will look like (this).
-The word can only be used one time during that month. No repeats!
-5% off will be taken off of the lowest priced item at the time of checkout.

It's Dental Health Month!
Everything you've ever wanted to know about Fido and Fluffys chompers!
Here are a few tips to keep your pet's teeth pearly white:
~Check your dog or cats teeth and gums once a week! Checking them weekly will allow you to quickly note any changes in your pets mouth. Gums should be pink (not red or white) and there should be no brown on the teeth. There should be no swelling or bleeding of the gums and breath should not be unusually smelly.
~Brushing your cat or dogs teeth can be a great way to help manage the inevitable buildup of plaque and tartar. Use a toothbrush designed specifically for dogs or cats or use a piece of gauze wrapped around your finger. Toothpaste specifically for dogs or cats is also essential! Do not use toothpaste for humans as it can upset your pets stomach. 30-60 seconds of gently brushing Fido and Fluffy's teeth should help reduce (plaque) buildup which causes smelly breath!
~ Make sure Fido has something to chew on! Chewing on appropriate toys and bones allows your dog to scrape away some of the soft tartar on the teeth as well as help the teeth stay strong and healthy. Raw bones are a great way to help your dog maintain strong and healthy teeth and gums.
~ Believe it or not, but cats can and should chew on toys too! Cats are natural born carnivores and have the ability to chew on appropriate toys and bones. Chewing allows cats to be able to scrap of soft plaque and tartar and maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Any items we do not stock on our shelves, we have to ask for payment at time of placing the order. Now, one might be wondering about a favorite toy or Fido's fluffy fake fur coat, those orders can be placed at any time, again we will ask for payment at the time of placing that order.
