New Year Volunteering!

Australia
Join us in New South Wales and help to rehabilitate the Kembla Heights Wetlands in Wollongong or assist with environmental restoration around the ever popular Sydney Park .

In Queensland come and assist with revegetation activities including seed collection, weed removal and bird watching at Townsville Town Common. Join our ‘Toadally Wild Team’ as we continue our campaign to rid the Gladstone region of the notorious pest, the Cane Toad! Spend a day in tranquil surroundings and help reduce erosion and contamination of our beautiful Moreton bay.

South Australian volunteers can help to preserve and restore habitat in the Magazine Creek Wetlands or enjoy the walking trails of Deep Creek Conservation Park, and spot Kangaroos, abundant birdlife and other wildlife in this nature haven.

The Waterview Sanctuary is part of the Pittwater Orielton Lagoon Ramsar Site and is an important feeding site for both resident and migratory water bird species.  Join our Tasmanian teams to help restore the sanctuary to its natural habitat for the resident birdlife to enjoy.

Visit one of Victoria’s most iconic holiday destinations and help with campground restoration in Grampians National Park, or help save the Eastern Barred Bandicoot at Woodlands Historic Park by improving bandicoot habitat and protecting them from predators.

Come and make a difference in Perth and kick off 2015 with our River and Catchment Restoration Summer Program, in the beautiful Swan Canning Riverpark.

New Zealand
Visit Auckland's Southern Parks and assist with a range of vital conservation activities or help to restore the habitat and ecological values of the Weiti River.

Naturewise Eco Escapes

For holiday makers who want to make a difference we have a great range of guided experiences assisting park ranges and environmental experts with conservation and research projects across Australia.  Some of our spring and autumn program highlights include a remote Kimberley adventure to Mornington Station, marine research at Ningaloo Reef, Eastern Barred Bandicoot monitoring for a day at Woodlands Reserve, short escape to the Grampians National Park helping monitor the elusive and threatened  Brush-tailed Phascogales, wombat conservation weekends in South Australia and an opportunity to make a difference to the world heritage listed Fraser Island National Park. Keep an eye on our web site for some great new  Naturewise programs being launched in February including Daintree and the Thorsborne Track on Hinchinbrook Island in North Queensland.
