Focus on Holiday Accommodation:
Our philosophy is simple; we choose places that will let you sample the local way of life. We look for places with bags of local character, these could be cottages, old farms, former mills, manor houses or even chateaux. In France most are "Chambres d'hotes" style, the equivalent of bed and breakfast. They are chosen for the friendliness of the hosts as well as their charm and quality. For evening meals you'll get to try original and delicious dishes. You will share your table with your hosts and enjoy a convivial evening with great food washed down by the local wine.
"We felt part of the country, and not just skimming the surface. Local produce, regional dishes, home cooking all contributed." J. Kay, UK.
"Overwhelmed by the level of hospitality received. We have walked with other companies in France, but this was by far the best." S. Adkins, UK.
This year we are launching our Accommodation of the Year Award, using your feedback and our experience to pick our favourite accommodation provider for 2015. So please tell us about those places that have exceeded your expectations.
For example, on walking holidays in Beaujolais, such as the Medieval Village Tour and the Beaujolais Wine Trails you may stay at La Villa Toscana guest house located in an elevated position in the heart of the Beaujolais surrounded by vines.
"Our favourite guest house was Villa Toscana - Fabienne and Pascal were both lovely and made us very welcome" Mr & Mrs Clark, UK.
