Jimmy Langley: Writer, Artist, Storyteller
"The more people i meet, the more i like my dog." Everyone needs to have a favorite Southern Saying in their back pocket to pull out and use at the proper occasion.
Jimmy is a storyteller, artist and published author of three books. His interest in collecting southern sayings started about seven years ago. His book, "Delmont's Slang Blade" contains a portion of his collection. His work has been covered and published by regional newspapers and magazines.

This February our church is hosting a spiritual and educational event sponsored by the Christian Church in Alabama and Northwest Florida. The weekend gathering begins with a worship service on Friday at 7:30 pm with Rev. Dr. Richard L. Hamm preaching. This worship service precedes the one-day Regional event on congregational transformation.

Nursery News
Layla Stern will no longer be serving as Nursery Coordinator on Sunday mornings. Ayana Crosby will be serving as a paid substitute until we are able to hire a new coordinator. We give thanks to Layla for her years of service, and we give thanks to Ayana for her willingness to fill in over the coming weeks.
