TIPE - WORKING FOR YOU
It may appear that information from TIPE is sparse at times but we can assure you that we work continuously to keep our Information Sheets up to date. We will, very shortly, be releasing the full version of PUWER 1998 regulations which have just been amended. These are the regulations that apply to your equipment and whilst there are sections that do not apply there is plenty that do. The team are currently working through all 84 pages of the legislation and hi lighting all the relevant sections. This will be available for download withing the next 3 weeks. This is quite a mammoth undertaking.
TRAINING AWARD FOR CONTROLLERS/SUPERVISORS/ATTENDANTS
We are pleased to announce that we now have 4 locations to run the training days for Controllers, Supervisors and Attendants as set out in BS EN 14960. We have created a pricing structure which we feel Operators will find more acceptable with an additional discount for TIPE subscribers. The costs are £70.00 plus VAT (standard), £60.00 plus VAT (TIPE subscribers) and an option for RPII listing at an additional £55.00 plus VAT. We are also able to offer in house training for those Operators who wish to have their staff trained as well. The course is a full day and concludes with a written exam. Successful candidates will receive a Certicate of Attendance and a copy of our manual. Most courses will be limited to 8 places with a maximum of 10 if venue space is suitable.
