Make and Take Heart Pendant Class

A Valentine's Eve Gathering

Jessica and I are opening up our studio on February 13th from 6-9ish pm for 6 people interested in making the pendant pictured above. I think we are going to start offering these Make and Take events on either a weekly or every other week basis throughout the rest of the year, starting in earnest sometime in March/April. 

Beginners are welcome! We will be supplying the materials and tools for this small gathering, so you don't have to bring anything other than your enthusiasm and sense of creative adventure to make a piece of jewelry to take home with you!

Each person will texturize, stamp, rivet and enamel their own pendants with us right there beside you. You will decide upon your own word, textures, placement of riveted embellishment and enameling colors. 

The finished pendant is about 2 inches long, and does not include the chain. We can make the jump ring large enough to fit most commercial chains you may have sitting in your jewelry box, or you can purchase a chain from us during the class.

I realize that many of you don't live here in Asheville. However, if you do happen to come visit (it is a great place to vacation!), you may want to keep this gathering on your radar to attend if you find yourself here in the future.

I would love to either see you again or meet you in person, and this feels like a great way to spend some time together in my studio exploring self-expression through art jewelry, which hopefully is one of the reasons that prompted you to sign up for this newsletter! 

If you just appreciate art jewelry or love to make it...and live around here or want to visit, I would love to see you in the River Arts District. This is a special place...and Jessica and I are both on the same page about sharing this space when we can with others.
