Represent The Advocates at the VocalPoint concerts
Central Presbyterian Church in St. Paul
February 7 & 8
Three volunteers are needed each day - February 7 and February 8 - to usher and staff an information table during intermission for the Vocal Point concerts. Volunteers will meet at 3:15 p.m. at to receive training; the concert should be concluded by 6:00 p.m. Each volunteer will receive a comp ticket to attend the concert. Hand address envelopes and assemble letters for a house party mailing.
February 16 to 20
Volunteers will hand address envelopes, stuff and assemble invitations for a house party benefiting the chool in Nepal. You may work at your convenience during our office hours, which are Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., the week of February 16. (Work will continue the week of February 23 if needed.)
Our office is located at 330 Second Avenue South, Suite 800 in Minneapolis.

Monitor the photo exhibit “I Have a Name: The Struggle of Undocumented Immigrants from Mexico and Central America in Photographs and Interviews”
April 2 to April 17
The exhibit, which runs from April 2nd to April 17th at the Landmark Center in downtown St. Paul, is co-sponsored by The Advocates and the St. Paul League of Women Voters. Volunteers will monitor the exhibit and may assist in the sale of a booklet which accompanies the exhibit and sells for about $5.00.
Shifts are from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm and 1:30 – 4:00 pm each day, except for April 5th when the Landmark Center is closed. If you are interested in volunteering for the photo exhibit, please contact Madeline Lohman at mlohman@advrights.org to select a shift. Thank you for helping to make the exhibit possible!
Make reminder calls for The Advocates' house party.

Volunteers will call those invited to our February 26 house party to remind them of the upcoming event. You may work at your convenience any weekday from February 16 - 24, between 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
