1. Classify diagnostic errors as missed diagnoses, delayed diagnoses, wrong diagnoses, or overdiagnoses
2. Identify specific strategies to teach about error in medical education
3. Identify some of the common sources of diagnostic error and begin to discuss mitigation strategies
