One Week Left to Submit Abstracts for 2015 VAM
There are only seven days left to submit your abstracts and surgical videos  for the Vascular Annual Meeting, to be held June 17 - 20, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois. 
 
The deadline to make your submission is February 10, 2015, through the official abstract submission website.  Visit the website to read submission guidelines.



NEW Practice Guidelines
The Society for Vascular Surgery Lower Extremity Guidelines Committee has released practice guidelines for atherosclerotic occlusive disease of the lower extremities.

The document focuses on the evaluation and management of asymptomatic disease and intermittent claudication (IC).

The Society for Vascular Surgery is offering General Surgery Resident/Medical Student Travel Scholarships and Minority Medical Student Travel Scholarships for the 2015 Vascular Annual Meeting.

The program allows residents and students to explore their interest in vascular surgery and importantly provides students and residents with the opportunity to meet members and leaders of the vascular surgical community.

Advice to Young Vascular Surgeons from Dr. Veith
