Better Internet with SuperCoders
This week we trained over 100 children to become SuperCoders.The event took place in Bucharest and Cluj, at the same time with 4 hours of debates and introduction in programming with Scratch. Kids gained super powers and were able to create their own online games about internet safety!

Lovely apps coming out from our bootcamp :D
Our students have reached a new level within the dev bootcamp program . Next months will be hard work and code at the speed of light. Now we have JavaScript, Bootstrap, Agile trainings and hands-on-reviews all day long. Raul is totally in love with Meteor, Alexandra puts FoodPlaces online and more landing pages are coming soon. Join Open Data Hackathon in Cluj!
International Open Data Day is coming! On this occasion, Simplon and The Sponge - Media Innovation Lab are organising a hackathon on 20-22nd February. If you have an idea about how to use open data to build a useful app subscribe it here!
This event is the begining of a new friendship between Simplon and The Sponge - Media Innovation Lab. Together we are building a collaboration platform for media visionaries: journalists, coders, activists, legal experts, designers and students in Cluj. Sponge is an experimental media laboratory that connects organizations in the media, information technology and transparency. Together we promote open data, free software and culture, free information, relevant and quality content articles or applications. We organize workshops, hackathons, courses and conferences. Digital Kids is coming to Cluj
Many kids from SuperCoders were willing to continue the coding workshops. Therefore Simplon and Digital Kids are now opening the subscriptions to our first module of programming classes for kids in Cluj. If you want your kids to learn how to code and do this every week, come to Digital Kids in Cluj. We have prepared the curriculum, a great team of trainers and everything we need. The only thing missing are the curious kids!
