Love, Trust, Rest.

Hi Friends,

I'm sitting here in my living room in San Jose preparing a meal for the DTS team that has been serving here. I'm so proud of how they have responded to the challenges before them and to see them whole-heartedly love Jesus by loving those around them is inspiring.

I've been back home for a few days, catching up on some sleep in a house that is strangely vacant; the rest of the family have a few weeks left to enjoy all the goodness Australia has to offer.

I never realized how weary I have become, so a few days rest is so welcome. My prayer has been for refreshing, hope and vision as I make preparations to finish this season well.

Over the past few weeks being around friends and family, I have been so encouraged to pursue His presence. Good friends who I admire and respect have been unrelenting in their resolve to exhort me and encourage me to dive deeper into the love and presence of Jesus. Making sure I am aware of the life He has for me every day, trusting in His abundance and faithfulness is foremost in my mind.

In this season of continual stretching and challenge it has been way too easy for me to retreat into myself instead of reaching my hands out to Jesus and lean into His Spirit.

So today I ask for you to pray for us, pray for me, for our team, our graduating students, our financial needs, for the lessons He is teaching to go deep, planting seeds that will bring much fruit.

If you would like to help us with some of our pressing financial needs please reply to this email for the quickest way to give, I'll be sure to respond. We are needing for $2000 to arrive by the end of the day, and another $4000 to come in by the end of next week. He can do it!!

Thank you for reading, for praying and being a part of our journey to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and trust him more deeply.

Love you all.

Luke, Ang and the kids.

My incredible siblings. I love them so much and it pains me to continually leave them. Spot the guy who's aged poorly!! :)

I always love taking my children to the place I grew up in. This is X playing while we wait for our Fish and Chips to arrive.

A customary Kookaburra/Magpie stand-off just because. Picture taken by Kindi.

Our lovely friends the Graetz family who we stayed with in Adelaide. We now have 9 children between us. A wild week. Absolutely great.
