Dear <<Name>>,

We're excited to announce two new indexed blogs this month: Sydney Seafood School and Cookbooks 365. This brings the total number of blogs to 80 and recipes from those blogs to over 78,000, providing even more top-notch recipe sources to all EYB Members.

Last month we looked at the favorite cookbooks of 2014 from around the world; this month we're seeing which books were the top sellers. If you expected to see the same books, prepare to be surprised.

Whether you're eating healthy for the new year or getting ready to make decadent chocolate treats for Valentine's Day, we hope your 2015 is off to a fantastic start.

Best selling cookbooks of 2014

In December our friends at cookbook stores around the world listed their favorite books of 2014. This month we asked them to report on their top sellers. Comparing the lists from specialist stores in the USA to that for all US sales as reported by Nielsen, we found very little overlap with only two books appearing on both lists. See lists from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Netherlands on the EYB blog.

Author interview with Ivy Manning
Ivy Manning Ivy Manning is a Portland, Oregon-based food and travel writer and author of several cookbooks. We caught up with Manning as her latest cookbook, Weeknight Vegetarian, hit the shelves. Read the EYB interview to find out which vegetarian recipes she suggests for the "Fred Flintstones" in your life, and why she feels vegetarian cooking doesn't have to be time-intensive.

Manning's book differs from many that expound health benefits of a meat-free diet, focusing instead on eating fantastic food without falling back on the easy "meat and three" plan. Manning states that cooking her vegetarian way "never seems like anything but really delicious stuff that happens not to have meat in it."

Cookbook giveaway - Weeknight Vegetarian
Ivy Manning's Weeknight Vegetarian shows how to put a tempting meatless meal on the table every night of the week. Using fresh produce, whole grains, vegetable-based protein, and healthy fats as the foundation, author Ivy Manning transforms fresh ingredients into tempting dishes.
