New planning laws threaten community rights
Before the election was called the LNP was about to "streamline" planning and development legislation with reductions to long established community rights. Redlands2030 calls for all candidates to support community rights for being made aware of proposed developments, community rights to object to proposals for significant land use change when development applications are submitted, and the importance of planning for ecological sustainability
