The AAL Programme is delighted to announce that the upcoming Forum 2015 will take place in Ghent (Belgium) between 22 and 25 September. The event is supported by the AAL Programme and IWT, the Flemish Agency for Innovation by Science and Technology, and it is organized in collaboration with iMinds.

This report identifies and maps technology-based services which have successfully enhanced the independent living of older adults at home in and outside Europe.
"Living active and independently at home. The contribution of ICT/technologies to integrated solutions for supporting active and independent living of older adults in their homes".It is anticipated that the call will be launched end February 2015, with a proposal submission deadline end May 2015.

The three-year project funded by the AAL JP, finished September 2013, turned out to be a highly inspirational process which led to the successful development of YoooM. To support family conections the Yoom tablet is in the market in a low cost version for 40 Euros.
