Bellabor Art Jewelry
Bellabor Art Jewelry is an Artists' Studio and Gallery located on Main Street in Hudson. Because it is a working studio, you are welcome to stop by and chat, and see the piece Dana Giel-Ray is currently working on.
Each piece of artwork is handcrafted, and a one-of-a-kind art work to wear. I am currently working in the technique of Maille, or Chain Mail, where individual rings are woven together to form a mesh or chain. Each piece begins from many feet of wire, which is wrapped around steel rods of different sizes to form long coils. The coils are then sawed apart into rings. Sterling silver is the metal I prefer to work in, but I do use other metals as well. Armed with two pairs of pliers, and a design in mind, I begin weaving the rings into a work of art.
You might know the word chain mail from suits of armor worn by knights in battle. I am using the same process that made those suits of armor, but my designs are made for the modern woman looking for some individuality. My designs can range from the simple to the complex, and commissions are always welcome.

Farinacci Pizza in Hudson is normally closed on Sundays, but on February 1st they will be open to celebrate Super Bowl Sunday and raise money for a great cause. All gross sales will be donated to the Student Assistance Endowment Fund through the Hudson Community Foundation. The staff is also donating their time for this event.

presents My Son Pinocchio Jr.
Young Actors Studio students in grades 2-12 are proud to present the musical My Son Pinocchio Jr. This fun-filled show is about toy maker Geppetto who complains that Pinocchio, the puppet who was brought to life by the Blue Fairy, is defective. Through lively songs, Geppetto tries to convince the Blue Fairy to take Pinocchio back. However, the Fairy tries to prove that Geppetto got exactly what he wished for.
Show times are February 12, 13, and 14th at 7 PM each evening with an additional matinee on the 14th at 2 PM.
