Carma Toll Refunds Now Available on All Austin-Area Toll Roads!
 
Now through June 30, 2015, you can drive toll-free on Central Texas toll roads using Carma, the carpooling app that makes commuting faster, safer, more affordable, and helps reduce congestion by putting empty car seats to use. To take advantage, simply sign up for Carma. Make sure your TxTag and license plate details are registered in the Carma app, and you are ready to go toll-free across Central Texas. 
  • Available on the 183A Toll, 290 Toll (Manor Expressway), SH 130*, SH 45N, Loop 1, and 45SE when you carpool with the Carma app. *Excludes segments 5 & 6 of SH 130, south of 45 SE.
  • Same refund amounts as always: 2-person carpools get 50% of the toll back, and 3+ person carpools get the FULL toll refunded!
  • Now refunded as Carma Credits - instead of TxTag credits, your toll refunds will be made on a monthly basis straight to your Carma account, which can be cashed out at any time or used towards future carpools. This was a change made in partnership with TxTag to benefit you - refunds will be available more quickly!
