GUTTMACHER INSTITUTE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE
2015 CORY L. RICHARDS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Guttmacher Institute is pleased to announce the 2015 cycle of the Cory L. Richards Memorial Scholarship to support emerging leaders in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights. The scholarship honors the legacy of Cory L. Richards, a member of the Guttmacher Institute staff for nearly four decades whose passion for mentorship and commitment to developing new leaders benefited countless individuals in the field. The scholarship aims to nurture the development of future leaders by providing financial support to students seeking advanced degrees in the fields of public health or public policy who plan to devote their careers to advancing public policy related to sexual and reproductive health and rights.

The 2015 Cory L. Richards Scholar will be awarded a one-time scholarship of $15,000 to support full-time graduate study at an accredited institution in the United States. In keeping with the Institute’s and Cory’s commitment to equalizing opportunity, priority will be given to students with a demonstrated financial need. The application process for the award for the 2015–2016 academic year is now open, with applications due on March 27, 2015. Please see the links below for further details.

The Institute thanks the many individuals, colleague organizations and foundations whose generosity made this scholarship possible.
