Our year-long block-a-month class is starting in APRIL
This is our most popular class at Hooked. More than 150 of our customers and students have completed this course and the last three years.
The class follows the book by Michelle Hunter (KnitPurlHunter.com)
The emphasis of this class is education. Students are guided through the various stitches and techniques each month as their knitting knowledge is increased. With a differe
nt skill focus each month there is something new to learn at each class. Topics such as gauge, cast ons, bind offs, cables, increases, decreases, lace, pattern reading and more are covered.
Work through the major knitting skills while creating 12 lovely squares. Master each technique before moving to a more advanced concept in a carefully designed sequence. All techniques are supported with FREE online video instruction for help outside of the class. Gain an abundance of knitting know-how along with 12 blocks to assemble into a sampler afghan.
This is a year-long commitment, but classes are just once a month for one hour.
We do prefer that you choose one session and stick with that, but as long as there is room, we will try to accommodate occasional changes.
Choose one of the following sessions:
Daytime Session
Every 2nd Thursday 3-4 pm beginning April 9th 2015
Weekend Sessions
Every 3rd Saturday 11 am-12 pm beginning April 18th 2015
or
Every 2nd Sunday 10-11 am beginning April 12th 2015
Evening Session
Every 2nd Tuesday 7:30-8:30 pm beginning April 14th 2015

Cost is $27.00/month
Includes cost of the book, yarn for all 12 squares, and US 10 24" circular needles.
Please come in to choose your yarn three weeks prior to the start of the first class so yarn can be ordered.
If you are choosing yarn after the deadline, you will need to choose from in-stock colors
Fee will be collected monthly. For those who wish to prepay for the year, an additional 10% will be deducted.
Please note that we are a small business and we purchase the yarn ahead of time, so if you are unable to finish the class for any reason, we ask that you purchase the remainder of your yarn.
