Welcome to Connecting Albert County

In our monthly e-bulletins, we will spread the news about the following. (Click on the links below to connect to our website.)

To learn more, visit www.ConnectingAlbertCounty.org.

Our mission is to celebrate the culture, natural beauty, and sense of community shared and valued by the people of rural Albert County.

We aim to nurture a growing attitude of hope and pride among community members, and to contribute to the economic prosperity of our region.

Visit www.ConnectingAlbertCounty.org to learn more about our community. Here are just a few of the stories you will find.

Albert County Health & Wellness Centre
See a description of the Services provided by our community health centre, along with the hours of operation. The centre's family physicians and nurse practitioner are currently accepting new patients. If you live in rural Albert County and do not have a primary care provider, or would like to make an appointment, please call 882-3100. The physicians offer a satellite office in Alma.
Tucked behind Riverside-Albert, midway between Moncton and Alma, NB, lies a hidden treasure. In a landscape dominated by deep ravines rests 2,823 hectares of old-growth Acadian forest known as the Caledonia Gorge.

Go to the Environment page to learn more about the
mysteries of the Caledonia Gorge, which lies between the Crooked Creek Look-off, New Ireland Road and Caledonia Mountain Road.
Fishing on the Bay of Fundy
On a warm summer day, a fishing boat on the Bay of Fundy is a lovely sight. But the fishermen in Alma don’t just go out on sunny days. I often see boats on the bay on blustery winter days. At night, I see the lights from the boats, sometimes while snow is coming down and the wind is howling...

Read more about fishing and farming at our Local Food page.
