NYA Community Network E-News
February 2015

This week NYA participated in the 5th Annual Arts Day at city hall with fellow arts colleagues and champions across the city.  During Arts Day arts champions met with their city councillors to discuss the role the arts play in Toronto and make the case for continued and growing support for culture within the city.

This year the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) introduced a new component to Arts Day, the Cultural Expo. The expo took place in the city hall lower rotunda, provided information, inspiration and insight into the arts in Toronto.

It was great to see all the people come out and show their support for the arts.

Show your support year round by participating in arts and cultural activities in your neighbourhood.

All the best,

From All of Us at NYA
