Brace yourselves for a new deadline for European cross-border working grants: Monday the 2nd of March 2015!

The deadline is set at 11.59 pm Brussels time. Applications are accepted until then. There is €25,000 to distribute this round.

Research paper on global data journalism investigations



The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism has published a research paper on global database investigations. The paper is written by Alexandre Léchenet, who is finalising a fellowship at the institute. It looks at three important cases of international, cross-border data journalism investigations, two of which were realised in cooperation with or with support of Journalismfund.eu. Read more.

#SwissLeaks at Dataharvest


ICIJ members Mar Cabra and deputy director Marina Walker, who worked on the #SwissLeaks project, are among the speakers at Dataharvest/EIJC15 in Brussels in May. Early bird registration (€110 instead of €150) ends on Saturday the 14th of February. Register now!

Grantee wins Prix Louise Weiss

French journalist Prune Antoine has been awarded the Prix Louise Weiss for European Journalism for her story on organ trafficking in Kosovo, supported by Journalismfund.eu. The prize is awarded every year to French-speaking, European journalists. Read more.
