NERFU AGM This Saturday

With many important topics being covered at the AGM this weekend make sure your leaders are there to provide your club's voice.
The AGM begins at 10am, but the venue is open at 9am for early arrivals; continental breakfast items will be available throughout the event.

One major topic to be addressed is the proposed update to the handbook on b-sides for senior clubs during the fall league season. You can find the proposed change on the NERFU website.

Summer Tournament Application Deadline: February 28th

Despite the cold weather, it’s time again to start planning the NERFU summer tournaments calendar. Any club planning to host a tournament should complete the application form on the NERFU website no later than Saturday, February 28^th.
Please be sure to identify and plan for several dates as this will not be a first come, first served process. Note: We will do our best to accommodate a similar schedule from years past for sake of consistency, but can’t make any promises.
In addition, NERFU will be looking for five host tournaments for the Men’s 7s Championship Series. Please indicate interest on your application form. Any questions can be directed to John McGeachy the Executive Director of Sevens.

May Dates to Enter In Your Calendar

Both the NERFU Cup and the USA Rugby Regional Play-offs are coming up this May. This year's NERFU Cup will be held on May 2nd and 3rd in Newport, RI at Fort Adams State Park.
The Competitive Region 3 Play-offs will take place on May 16th and 17th. The top cubs from the NERFU fall season will competiting for seeds in the USA Rugby National Championship Series. Albany and Saratoga Springs (NY) will co-host this event.
