So where have the first 3 months of the year gone to? and for some of you those pounds are beginning to go too !
I must say the step challenge has been amazing and those of you that are 'stepping it up' we have definitely seen the results. Keep it going and remember be realistic with tracking your own base line to start and then gradually increasing your agreed target.
Don't forget 'Portion Distortion' by under estimating what you are eating, keep good track of your portion sizes, use smaller plates and bowls, eat slowly it takes about 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain its full. Use the eatwell plate to help you get the balance right, I have these available in class for £9 each for weekly paying members and £8 for Prems
So with Easter now racing towards us remember to eat 'Clean' keep hydrated and keep moving!
Easter Schedule
Just a reminder that all classes are closed from Tuesday 31st March - Saturday 4th April. The only exception will be week 4 of the Learn To Nordic Walk class which will run on Good Friday at 9.00am to catch up on the week missed due to the virus I had :-(
All classes (with exception of Pilates term time only) start back in full Tuesday 7th April

The next Nordic Walking taster is on Saturday 11th April or Thursday 23rd April and will give you a short taster of what its all about.
The 4 Week Learn To will start Saturday 25th April or Thursday 30th April. This course will help you to not only learn Nordic walking technique but will help you to use it in order to achieve your personal health and fitness goals.
Each session adds another ‘gear’ and helps you to understand how to gain propulsion, gradually increase the workload and learn how to Nordic walk for fitness, weight loss or fun! Four one hour sessions in a relaxed group suitable for all levels. £45 for the 4 sessions

There are now 4 regular walks to choose from once you have completed a course.
The first term of Fitness Pilates classes has made a start. The progress of those attending has been great to see and has been very rewarding to teach. Fitness Pilates will help to
- Increase core strength
- Improve overall body strength
- Enhance posture, mobility, flexibility and stability
- Correct everyday moves
- Tone your body
So what next?
The 18th April is hopefully my final exam in Nutrition so fingers crossed. I then have to complete the remainder of the paperwork and case study. Next will be to finalise and complete the Level 3 Pilates paperwork, case study and filming!!
A busy few weeks still lie ahead but then hopefully I will be able to take a deep breath and BREATH!! Thank you all for your support and encouragement so far. Its been a great start to the Year with some exceptional weight losses and who would believe that its been a year since leaving RC!!
Onwards and Upwards as they say....
