Greetings 2015 Parliament WOMEN Registrants!

Plans for the the Parliament’s Inaugural Women’s Assembly and Program Initiative for Global Advancement, Oct 15 – 19 at the Salt Lake City Parliament are taking shape, and we are excited to extend this invitation to YOU to participate.

Join us in assuring that women’s voices are heard at the Parliament and around the world on the issues that concern you and the wisdom and practices that inspire you.
The Women’s Assembly will be held on October 15, 2015, from 9 am to 5 pm, at the Salt Palace Conference Center immediately prior to the official opening of the Parliament at 7 pm later that evening. The Assembly will provide an important opportunity for women to address and discuss two areas of vital interest:
  • the responsibility of the world’s religions to affirm women’s dignity and human rights,  &
  • religious and spiritual inspiration for women’s empowerment.
The Women’s Program Initiative will continue from October 16-19, integrated into the overall Parliament, with diverse programming that celebrates the value of women’s wisdom and inspires with new models of spiritual engagement and leadership.

An onsite Women’s Sacred Space will also be available for prayer, reflection, services and celebration.

TO JOIN THE WOMEN'S INITIATIVE...
In 1893, 19 women addressed the first Parliament, a milestone in the history of women and religion. Today, more than 60% of registrants for the 2015 Parliament are already women! We’ll be keeping you posted with upcoming announcements of speakers, programming, projects and opportunities to participate before and at the Parliament.
You can help us now by getting the word out to women around the world and by submitting program and worship service proposals.
