Eating Disorder Awareness Week

It has been a busy week for the crew at the Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta, and there are still more events to come!

JOIN US in our upcoming events:

Panel Discussion on February 4 at 7:00 - 9:00

Where:
11010 142 Street
Alberta Teachers' Association Building (free parking)

EDSNA is excited to host a diverse group of individuals that include: a psychologist who specialises in eating disorders, an individual who has recovered from an eating disorder, an educator whose daughter has an eating disorder, as well as the spouse of an individual who has an eating disorder. Bring your questions, it promises to be a panel filled with lively discussions!

#smashED on February 7 at 2:00 - 4:00
Where: Churchill Square

Who knew that smashing a bathroom scale could be so much fun? Free yourself from that number and SMASH that bathroom scale or make a donation to smash one of ours! Pieces will be used to complete an art piece on positive body image.

Book Launch on February 8 at 4:00 - 5:00
Where: 17650 69 Avenue
             Lois Hole Library

EDSNA is thrilled to host our very own author, Sue Huff to launch her new book "Book of Hope - stories of love, courage and recovery from families who have battled eating disorders".  Sue wrote this book for families impacted by eating disorders, so they could find hope for their own family, and know that they are not alone.
