You can contact Madeleine at event.saccla@gmail.com or 310-622-3617.
Madeleine Gustâv Bio
Madeleine was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. After high school she applied to Stockholm University where she recently received a Master of Science in Business and Economics with focus on accounting. Halfway through her education Madeleine fulfilled her dream of study abroad in the U.S. when she moved to Santa Barbara to study management and marketing.

During her education Madeleine was an active member of the student association at Stockholm University. She was involved in the associations largest project - one of Swedens biggest job fairs for business students where she was responsible for internal communication and head of recruitment. During her last semester Madeleine was asked to be the Vice Chairman of the Marketing Committee. These experiences together with the love of California lead her to apply for this internship at the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles.

As the Marketing Manager, Event Management, Madeleine wants to use her previous experience while at the same time learn even more about event planning and team leadership. She aims to involve the organizations members even more and create various events.

Kalles Kaviar in Los Angeles

For many Swedes Kalles Kaviar is something you always make sure you have stocked in the fridge. However, when taking the product to other regions of the world it's made clear that some things just don't translate that well to other cultures...

The Berlin International Film Festival has begun!

On Thursday February 5th, earlier this week the Berlin International Film Festival, also called Berlinale, kicked off. Berlinale is one of the biggest film festivals in the world, last year selling over 300,000 tickets, almost half a million amount of admissions and near one thousand public screenings during a ten day period. Very impressive!

Last year the Chinese film "Black Coal, Thin Ice", directed by Yi'nan Diao won the main prize; the Golden Berlin Bear. It did this by actually beating both 2015 Academy Award Nominees for Best Motion Picture of the Year "Boyhood", directed by Richard Linklater and "The Grand Budapest Hotel", directed by Wes Anderson. Perhaps you also might remember Hollywood's enfant terrible, Shia LaBoeuf, and his presence at the red carpet wearing a brown paper bag with the caption "I am not famous anymore" on his head last year.

For more information about this year's line up, including Terrence Malick's "Knight of Cups" (Starring Christian Bale) and Wim Wenders "Every Thing Will Be Fine" (starring James Franco and also Peter Stormare), go to their website to find out more!
