February 2015 

January brought with it sub-zero temperatures, three Post-Bac January-Term courses, and another round of student microgrants; February brings with it another 5CollDH Speaker Series lecture, and blog posts from our Student Fellows, micro grant recipients and Post-Bacs.

5CollDH January Term Courses and Workshops


In January, 5CollDH the post-bacs Jeffrey MoroKimberly Bain, and Mariel Nyröp each facilitated a a Five College DH course. Faculty, staff, and students from the Five Colleges came together to partake in Moro's course on E.Lit/Net.Art, Nyröp's exploration of Peer-to-Peer politics, and Bain's Video Game practicum.

Join us on February 19th as Roopika Risam, Professor of English at Salem State, talks postcolonial studies, the Digital Humanities, and DH activism. 
 
This lecture is the fourth in the 2014-2015 5CollDH Speaker Series: What is at Stake?which invites speakers to discuss the politics, poetics, and urgency in the study of digital cultures.
