Scéalta from Switzerland are guests of the NYAH Comhaltas branch in the Farnham Arms Hotel Carvery room Cavan on Wed 25th Feb 7.30pm. Concert of Irish Music, Song and Dance with NYAH Comhaltas branch artists opening the concert followed by Scéalta.

Cavan County Choir Professional Recording of "Testament".
 
Cavan County Choir will professionally record "Testament" on 21 February 2015.

This piece of music is composed by Sean Doherty and set to words by poet Heather Brett.

The rehearsal and professional recording will take place in the Backyard Arts Centre, Moynehall, Cavan.

Rehearsal wll commence at 10.30am.

During 2015 Curators in Residence Annette Moloney and Maeve Mulrennan will provide a year-long programme in Cavan focusing on dialogue and professional development with and for local artists.

Hello sessions have been set up to to bring together artists’ ideas and inputs, which will inform and shape the overall plan for the residency during 2015.

Word Alchemy Creative Writing Workshops 
 Join Bee Smith for the second in the series of Word Alchemy Creative Writing Workshops at Dowra Courthouse - Creative Space.

Open to adults, beginner and more experienced writers alike, Word Alchemy Creative Writing Workshops are a safe space where you can explore creative expression through words.

This series of workshops will meet each Saturday from 11:00-1pm. Workshops begin on 21st February until 28th March.
