Chalice Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
During the month of February, we'll be collecting new, warm pajamas for The Pajama Project.  Each year we have supported this heartwarming project, which provides pajamas to children at risk in the Foster Care system and children in group homes. Often when a child is removed from the home to enter the system, they do so without clothes.  A warm pair of pajamas can be of great comfort to them. We will collect children’s pajamas, all sizes, each Sunday during February.  
 
Our Regional Minister, Denny Williams, will be in worship this Sunday for Rev. Abigail's installation as pastor of Chalice as her initial two year contract comes to a close. Plan to stay after worship longer than usual for some cake!
We will be hosting IHELP this Saturday. If you signed up to bring food, see you at 5 p.m.! If you have questions about IHELP, ask Kathy Corner. 
East Valley Youth Group meets this Sunday, 5-7 p.m., at Desert Heritage Church, 1020 N Horne, Mesa. Kids in grades 6-12 are welcome!

Regional Youth Retreats are February 21-22 at Tucson churches. Kids in grades 6 through 12 are eligible to go. If you're planning on going, let Rev. Abigail know now!

A Few Notes
  • East Valley Youth will be meeting Sunday, Feb. 8 at Desert Heritage Church, 1020 N. Horne in Mesa.  Kids in grades 6-12 welcome!
  • We will be collecting jars of Peanut Butter on the third Sunday of each month, starting next Sunday.  Peanut butter is one of the most needed by food pantries, including Chandler Christian Community Center, where ours will go.
