Check-In and the
Operations Desk
Mission control for Intercon O can be found at the Operations Desk. This is where you will get checked in, can get any questions answered and report any problems you run into during the convention. You can always find a staff member here to help you.
On Thursday and early on Friday, Operations will be set up in the Boardroom. On Friday afternoon, Operations moves to the lobby downstairs in the Radisson Convention Center (opposite Salon A-C), opening at 6pm for main check-in. Later that evening, the Operations Desk will move upstairs and remain there for the rest of the convention.
When you check-in, we'll be verifying your membership and printing your badge and providing a badge holder. We ask that you please wear your Intercon O convention badge when you are in convention space. If you ordered Intercon O shirts, you can pick them up once the Operations Desk moves upstairs, when the desk is open.
We're moving away from the traditional "check-in envelope," so if you need a copy of your convention schedule, we can print one for you at the Operations Desk. If you are a LARP GM, we will have a copy of your information at the Operations Desk. Program books will also be available at the Operations Desk, if you need one.

Please report any problems during the convention to an Intercon O Senior Staff member or the Operations Desk.

NEIL Board Elections
New England Interactive Literature (NEIL) is a not-for-profit volunteer-run organization that sponsors, among other events, this convention, Intercon O.
The organization comprises a small Board of Directors that manages the global decisions for the larger group of events and volunteers, especially across multiple events, and holds certain assets and makes agreements allowing us to sponsor events and contests.
Next month, we will hold elections for seats on the Board of Directors. If you are interested in being on the NEIL Board of Directors, there will be a signup sheet at the Intercon N Operations Desk.
Take a look at our redesigned web site for more information about the board or track down a NEIL Board Member at Intercon N to find out more.

Intercon O Closing
Ceremonies and Raffle
Shortly after 1:00pm on Sunday, after LARPs conclude, the Intercon O Closing Ceremonies will begin in Salon A, B and C. This is where we all gather and our ConChair thanks everyone for coming and recognizes those who helped make Intercon O happen. The winner of the Intercon O Iron GM LARP Competition will be announced, too. And the two big parts of Closing Ceremonies are the Shameless Plugs and the our famous Intercon Raffle!
If you have a LARP or event you'd like to advertise, a Shameless Plug is the way to do it. These have included upcoming conventions, nearby campaign LARPs, and other events of interest to the LARP community. There will be a signup sheet for plugs at the Operations Desk if you would like to make a plug.
Interspersed with the plugs will be our Raffle. A variety of games, items from our vendors, memberships in upcoming conventions and LARPs, books, even a box of Girl Scout cookies one year, have all be raffled off in the past. The raffle prizes will be on display at the Operations Desk upstairs, during the convention, and you can purchase additional raffle tickets there.

Reserve your hotel room!
Rooms at the Chelmsford Radisson Hotel and Suites are still available for Intercon O but don't delay making your reservation!
Call the Radisson toll free number 1-(800) 333-3333 or their local number (978) 256-0800 and make sure you specify the "Intercon" room block to get our rate. You can check out more about the Radisson and the room amenities on our website's hotel page.

Please take the
Before-the-Convention Survey
If you have a few moments, please take our Intercon O Before-the-Convention Survey. It's a short survey that asks some simple questions and gives you space for your feedback on how we've done so far.
When you complete the survey, no later than Tuesday, February 24, you will automatically have on ticket entered in the Intercon O raffle, held during closing ceremonies.
And next month, we'll send you a notice of the After-the-Convention Survey, which will be bigger and ask more about how you enjoyed Intercon O!

Can you help Intercon O?
Volunteering at Intercon O can be lots of fun! Do you have some spare time this weekend? We'd love to have you help us making the convention great.
Our new head of Operations, Josh Sheena, could use your help at the Ops desk. You can sign up for shifts through the Intercon O website and we could really use your help to make Intercon O run smoothly. If you think you're able to help and have trouble with the website, you can drop Josh an email, too.

The Intercon O Con Suite
Eating is an important part of your convention weekend and, this year, we're pleased to make arrangements with the Radisson to provide food at our Con Suite. There will be no additional cost for food at our Con Suite–it is included in your convention membership, however it is available in limited quantities.
As in previous years, please be prepared to supplement Con Suite food with food from local restaurants or other alternate sources of food. This approach to Con Suite, although difficult, is a necessary change to enable the growth of our convention.
Friday (snacks): Assorted chips, pretzels and cookies; soda and juice station. (These snacks available throughout the weekend.)
Saturday morning (7am-9am): Assorted cereal and bagels with toast, orange juice and milk; cream cheese, peanut butter, jelly and a coffee and tea station.
Saturday afternoon (12:30-2:30): American Chop Suey, Garlic Bread, chef's choice vegetable Soup, mixed green salad and dressing, chef's choice of assorted desserts and a juice station.
Saturday evening (5:30-8:30): Chicken stir fry, vegetable stir fry, rice, rolls and butter, chef's choice of assorted desserts and a juice station.
Of course, the Intercon Sunday Breakfast will also happen this year, too, again provided by the hotel.
Please let us know if you have questions about the Con Suite.
