UNO-St. Claude Gallery to host closing reception for two Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibitions
The UNO-St. Claude Gallery will host a closing reception on Saturday, March 7, from 6-9 p.m., for two concurrent Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibitions. “isthmus=anchovy” features installation by Bradford Willingham, and “Framed” includes paintings by Nora See. Willingham “employs commonplace language, objects and means of communication, to create situations and sculptures that are at play with the familiar.”  See “appropriates & dislocates paintings as miniature trinkets to reference the consumption and altered continuum of art.  Her alterations to original pieces further personalize their context to address specific autobiographical ideas.”

Exhibit dates are February 14 – March 8, 2015. Regular gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays, 12-5 p.m.  The gallery is located at 2429 St. Claude Ave. Inquiries may be directed to Kathy Rodriguez at klrodri2@uno.edu
