Just Do It.

I'm not talking about the infamous Nike slogan. I'm talking about actually taking an action towards pursuing your goals and dreams right now. Just take one step. That's all there is to it.

After you finish that one action, start on another, then another.  Let it snowball from there. The important thing is to just do it.
You can hire a coach and pay them to teach you this simple truth or you can just do it yourself.

I hope you enjoy this newsletter. Keep on innovating my friends.

Launch Festival

Last week was a ton of fun. I flew up to San Francisco to attend Launch Festival 2015, a big three day startup festival located at the Fort Mason center. There were over 11,000 attendees, 45 companies that launched on stage, and 260+ demo pit companies. I tried my best to cover as many startups as possible via the Young And CEO blog. One of my favorite companies was Noble Brewer, a newly launching craft beer club. Check out the full coverage »

Bite-sized Knowledge for Entrepreneurs

A few months ago I launched PowerBooks, a curated list of the most powerful books for entrepreneurs (in my opinion of course). This is for you, the innovator, the startup founder, and the creative. This project was well received and went to the top of Product Hunt on the second day it was out. I received a lot of feedback since then and I've improved it.

I added more books, improved the summaries, and cleaned up the site. I hope you like it. I created this because I wanted a living list of book recommendations I could send to my friends because I always get asked what books I would recommend to entrepreneurs. Check it out here »

How to Start a Startup Class

"How to Start a Startup" or CS183B is a course that was taught by Sam Altman, president of Y Combinator, at Stanford this past Fall. It was an epic class that went over everything Y Combinator and some well known startup founders know about how to launch a successful startup.

We created a one-stop hub for the videos, resources, assignments, speaker bios, and summaries. Check it out here »
