THANKS MUM

Sunday 8 & 15 March, 10am - 2.30pm

Treat your mum on Mother's Day with a meal, coffee, cake, flowers, soap or something else lovely from our Sunday Market - perhaps all of the above!

To make things easy for you, on both Sunday 8 and 15 March, we have hand-picked a lovely selection of traders for our Sunday Market - who will be selling locally-made gifts and edible treats, perfectly suited for mothers.

DELICIOUS NEW MENU

from March

Summer is on it's way...

Our head chef has been busy, once again, as it's goodbye to those Winter warmers and hello to a menu that evokes warmer climbs, as we catch the first rays of Bristol sunshine.

Why not treat yourself to a baked butternut squash, stuffed with goats cheese and herbs or a lamb, chorizo and chick pea stew, with homemade naan bread. If you fancy something lighter then try our Spanish inspired tapas, such as fried sardines or tuck into a very yummy cauliflower frito with chili sauce.

Plus, we've made every effort to source all our ingredients locally and use local producers too.

TWO NEW EXHIBITIONS

Kerry Day,  25 February - 21 April, The Snug
Neill Fuller, 2 - 28 March, Main Bar

One of Bristol's finest print-makers installs a series of beautifully constructed lino-cuts artworks into 'The Snug'. Kerry Day is inspired by the many cacti and plants she shares her home and studio with – the strong profiles of her spiky friends and the marvellously named Elephant Ear plant. Like many artists before her, she is fascinated by the shapes and contours of leaves, and the joy of discovering new patterns within the vibrant green foliage.

Our Main Bar space plays host to painter Neill Fuller, who is exhibiting a series of smaller and affordable works celebrating items that have both an autobiographical and collective resonance. His work often examines an object’s ability or attempts to successfully and unsuccessfully represent or ape something from the real world.
