Alert:  Industrial Action affecting goods from U.S. West Coast

A long-standing industrial dispute between the PMA and ILWU is impacting imports and exports out of ports at Long Beach and Los Angeles.  .

New Stink Bug Pest emergency measures for break bulk cargo from U.S. east coast

As a result of increased interceptions of the Stink Bug pest in break bulk imports arriving in Australia and NZ, the Dept of Agriculture has advised of new emergency measures to be introduced from 23rd February 2015 for all break bulk vehicles and tyres being shipped from the east coast ports of the United States.

Licences abolished for low volume imports of equipment containing ODS and SGG
