Volunteer Edition

The Coldest Night of the Year Walk will be held this
Saturday, February 21st, 2015.

You guys have been very busy - we already have 42 teams and 254 walkers signed up and over $44,000 raised!

It's not too late to register!
Either go online to www.coldestnightoftheyear.org/register or show up at Algonquin High School on Saturday at between 4-5pm with your $25 registration fee.

Everyone who registers receives this year's beautiful toque and a warm chili dinner catered by Cecil's.

We are still in need of volunteers for the event! Contact Candice at 705-474-7687.

Meals Served in January:

In January we served 1922 lunches!
That's 87 lunches served per day - up from last month's
83 lunches served per day.
On our busiest day in December we served 110 lunches.

Breakfast

In December, we served 374 breakfasts, with an average of 24 people per day.

Volunteers

We are in need of volunteers on the following days:

Friday, February 20th - 3 volunteers
Friday, March 6th - 2 volunteers
Monday, March 9th - 2 volunteers
Thursday, March 12th - 6 volunteers

During February and March, both Jill and Michelle will be taking some leave. Please welcome Angela, our newest addition, who will be helping us out in the office during this time. Candice and Admir will still be available for questions.

Grace Weekes, Sandrino Silvestri, Sylvain Cote and Clint Vuorimaki will be filling in for Michelle in the kitchen while she is away. Please bring your enthusiasm and support with you, and understand that sometimes, things may be done a little differently. We are so grateful to have such wonderful volunteers. Thank you.
