Waitsfield Elementary School Rocks!

March 5, 2015
Thanks to the PTA for funding the childcare at the town meeting; their peals of laughter were a welcome background to the meeting!

Dear families and friends,
Thank you to all who were able to attend this year's annual school meeting. The school budget for 2015-2016 passed unanimously from the floor. Details of that budget, representing a 1.9% increase over this year's spending,  can be found in the town report or on the school board page of our school website. The community's continuing engagement with and support of our school is reflected in the quality of experiences that we are able to offer.

We're looking forward to next week's artist residency with Troy Wunderle and Wunderle's Big Top Adventures. Families, look for the circus tricks to start being practiced at home soon.  Our culminating performance on Friday, March 13, 6 p.m., promises to be a great one; I hope to see you all there!
Respectfully,      Kaiya
