The revival of the Turkana bus - Journey to the Jade Sea
View this email in your browser
Dear <<First Name>>,

It was 40 years ago that Emma Hedges paid her first visit to Lake Turkana, bouncing around in the back of her father's Land Cruiser as they recced the route for what was to become the "Legendary Turkana Bus".
Time has passed, but few human influences have changed or affected the timelessness, beauty and traditions of the vibrant peoples of this vast area... until now!
With proposed pipelines, railways and roads from South Sudan to Manda Bay and oil rigs dotted across the horizon, this stunning landscape and world heritage site is under threat.
NOW is certainly the time to see the last vestiges of Kenya's Northern Frontier before it changes even within the next 10 years...

We think... what better time to revive the Turkana Bus!
