Greetings,

Do you ever listen to music? Does listening to favorite music lift your spirits?

What if your IPod didn’t work anymore, your CDs wouldn’t play and all the radio channels you tuned in played music you didn’t like? Do you think you would miss it?

I was talking with my friend Deb today. She recently gave her mom a copy of my CD Songs You Know By Heart.

But guess what? Deb’s mom didn’t have any way to play it.

Fortunately Deb’s brother, who lives with his mom, went out and bought her a CD player so she could play her new CD. Deb’s mom then called her to say “I’ve been listening to Mary Sue sing on her CD and I’ve had such a great day.”

Deb shook her head as she was telling me about this and said "Wow! Who knew it could be so easy to make my mom happy and give her a good day?"

Is there someone in your life or a resident you serve who needs a CD player? Or do they have a CD player but no one to help them turn it on?

Can you help someone gain access to the music they love?

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. Let’s bring back the music for the seniors in our lives.

Yours in song,
Mary Sue
