LNA Newsletter
February 2015

LNA is heavily invested in providing quality trainings and workshops in 2015. We are off to a great start with 45 individuals taking part in the Nonprofit Marketing Boot Camp and an eye opening first Lunch N' Learn on some very real employer compliance challenges we face as nonprofits. Take a look at some great upcoming opportunities for members:

Innovation Thinking for Social Impact - February 27th

LNA Members have a rare opportunity to step out of their day-to-day operations and apply "Design Thinking" to the wicked problems we face in the nonprofit world. We are very honored to host the NewNorth Center for Design at our February 27th Lunch N' Learn to challenge us to think differently. All Lunch N' Learns are Free to LNA Members and $15 for Non-Members (no registration limit per organization.) While most Lunch N' Learns are held at the OAISD, February's will be held at City on Hill. You may bring your own lunch or purchase from the City on a Hill cafe.

New Learning Circle Focused on Marketing/Communications/PR
 March 18th

In response to a high demand for regular growth and learning in the area of marketing/communications/public relations, LNA (with support from Heather Eizenga of Holland Hospital) will be launching a new "Learning Circle" to help nonprofits grow together in their collective expertise. Our first meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18th (noon - 1:30pm) at the Herrick District Library. This first gathering will feature a presentation from the Holland Sentinel on how nonprofits can best partner with them to grow their public relations. This will be followed by an opportunity to pose questions to the group regarding your own marketing & communications challenges and gain feedback. This event is free to participate but we ask that you please register so we have an idea of how many to expect. Also, this is a Brown Bag format so please bring your own Lunch. Register Here
