TERM 1 NEWSLETTER
To welcome our families to a new year at ECFKI we will be holding a welcome barbeque at the centre on Friday 27th of February, from 5:30-7:00pm. Bring the whole family for an enjoyable afternoon and get to know the Earlwood Caring For Kids Community. We would love to see you all there!
Centre News

Welcome back and we hope you like the new look newsletter.

I am pleased to announce that we now have places available for both permanent and casual care in the mornings and afternoons. Please contact the centre to make the most of this wonderful opportunity.

Term one has had a great start with the children jumping into thier new routines and activities. The older students are doing a wonderful job of welcoming our new children and helping them to feel right at home. There have been many preparations for new projects and up and coming cultural celebrations.

With the start of a new year the staff and children will be taking some time to focus on new ideas for our Quality Improvement Plan. This is a progressive document that is regularly updated as we achieve our goals. Here at ECFKI we greatly appreciate and welcome your feedback. If there is anything you would like to see happen at the centre this year, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Centre Director
Committee Update

On behalf of the committee I'd like to wish a warm welcome to our new families and a welcome back to the returning families.

We are still in discussion with the Department of Education regarding our new licence agreement for the centre but we are hoping to have the new licence completed and signed by the end of Term 1.

The AGM is scheduled for Monday 9th March, 6.30pm at the centre. A more detailed notice will be sent out soon regarding this.

We look forward to meeting you at the Welcome BBQ and at the AGM.

Our centre is a Not-For-Profit organisation run by a Volunteer Management Committee consisting of parents from the EFCKI community.

There would be no place for our children to go before and after school without the help and commitment of parent volunteers.

Your participation is essential to our centre’s doors remaining open.

Get Active. Get Involved.
Your Care Counts.
