Wattblock sent out it's first press release last week announcing its partnership with Microsoft CityNext.

To assist municipal governments in understanding energy waste in residential buildings we have been trialling data visualisation and heat mapping tools. Mapping Wattblock energy reports across one council municipality (right) shows up to 400% overspend on electricity (dark red).
We have now completed the design phase on our first buildings for energy-saving retrofit and have engaged electricians to proceed with fit-out. The data we collect will further assist with improving our energy analytics. Wattblock's buildings under energy management are on track to double this week.

Recent masterclasses we've attended have been in B2B negotiation, B2B selling and legals for setting up Employee Stock Option Plans in our changing regulatory environment. We also thank Telstra Media and Telstra Ventures for setting up meetings on our behalf and Telstra's pricing team for reviewing our latest 'go-to-market' offer.

The China trade mission is drawing closer. We currently have four UNSW based translators working to convert our material to Chinese.

We have two key things we require assistance on at present. If you have any contacts in China in municipal government, LED lighting, electric vehicles or the property management sector please let us know. Also, we are looking for further introductions into financial institutions which have carbon lending and environmental upgrade finance products both in Australia and in China.
Our customer engagement starts with a free report identifying energy waste in buildings. If you have not already done so, we recommend you create a Wattblock Report for a building.
