Anderson Reopens

After years of dreaming and planning and 18 months of demolition and construction, the College’s beloved icon is open for learning. The first day of class in renovated Anderson Hall coincided with the first day of Spring semester. To commemorate the event, the bell rang 145 times – a toll for each year the building has served the campus. Read, see and hear more about it!

February Meetings

Canon David Porter, the Archbishop of Canterbury’s director for reconciliation, is the guest speaker for this year’s February Meetings, scheduled for Feb. 24. The theme: “Dancing at the Crossroads – Transforming Conflict and Building Peace in Church and Society.” Read more.

MC Works

Ben Carpenter, vice chairman of CRT Capital Group in Stamford, Conn., and author of The Bigs: The Secrets Nobody Tells Students and Young Professionals, visited the campus Jan. 20 to talk with students about the importance of career preparation. The MC website carries the story and video of his talk. Check it out!

St. Augustine, Fla., is the ultimate destination for the 2015 tour, but the 57-person choir will give performances in South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee along the route. Make plans to hear the Choir and its “Speak to Us of Love” repertoire based on Kahlil Gibran’s classic work, The Prophet.
