Labour Campaign for International Development
#DevelopmentDoorstep - 28th March

Let's make development matter on the doorstep.

Join LCID members, the LCID executive and MPs to campaign for Neil Coyle in Bermondsey and Old Southwark and Tulip Siddiq in Hampstead and Kilburn.

These are two of the key target seats in London - Hampstead and Kilburn has a tiny majority and Bermondsey is a high profile seat we need to take from the Lib Dems.

The day will be a great opportunity to meet other LCID members. We'll be arranging both a place for lunch and dinner so please join us for the day.

We'll also be joined by a special guest - their identity plus the logistics for the day will be confirmed soon, but please circle the 28th March in your diary!

We will also be organising campaign days for seats in other regions over the next couple of months leading to the election.

We hope to see you on the 28 March. For more details please contact our Election Officers: farah@lcid.org.uk and mike@lcid.org.uk

Reminder - Join Mary Creagh, Glenys Kinnock and Stephen Doughty this Tuesday

We're delighted to announce that Labour's next International Development Secretary Mary Creagh will now be joining us for the launch of  LCID Honorary Presidents Glenys' and Stephen's pamphlet this coming Tuesday.

"Beyond Aid: Labour's ambition for a radical development agenda" analyses the challenges we face and includes contributions from a wide range of experts on issues from climate change to inequality, women's' rights to decent work, education to health, and much more. The panel will also include Mary Riddell from the Telegraph and Dr Jason Hickel from the LSE, and will be chaired by BOND CEO Ben Jackson.

Please join us this coming Tuesday 3 March, from 6:30pm-8pm in the Attlee Suite, Portcullis House. Places are limited, so please RSVP by clicking here.
