Canada Games TV TODAY kicked off Monday night catching the attention of thousands of friends, families and fans across the nation.

Sunday afternoon, family, friends and fans gathered at the Tournament Capital Centre in Kamloops to watch Dylan Armstrong receive a bronze medal for his outstanding performance at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
In partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee and International Olympic Committee, ViaSport TV live-streamed the ceremony, so Dylan's fans could watch from across the country and throughout the world.

Team BC is making great strides in the first few days of the 2015 Canada Winter Games.
With medals in alpine and freestyle skiing, biathlon, artistic gymnastics, speed skating and target shooting, the team is already showing incredible strength against fierce competition.
Going into the fifth day of competition, Team BC is currently neck in neck with Alberta at third place in the medal standings.

The Government of British Columbia, the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) and ViaSport have entered into a $335,000 Northern Sport Accessibility 2015 partnership to help build more inclusive northern communities by developing a new program delivery model that has the potential to serve other regions.
Northern Sport Accessibility 2015 and the expansion of the After School Sport and Arts Initiative both support Accessibility 2024, a 10-year plan and shared commitment between government, businesses and communities to make B.C. the most progressive place in Canada for people with different abilities.
