Adam took part in the 'Education Matters' debate held at the University of Sussex last week, discussing equality and accessibility in Higher Education. The panel of inspirational speakers considered factors such as wealth and disability and the impact this has on achievement, access and aspiration. They shared their perspectives on the challenges faced and their ideas on how we can address them.
Adam said, "It was really exciting to see our society's future teachers passionately debating about increasing aspirations and making our education system more accessible for all! Creating positive change in education is at the forefront of DnA's and TeachFirst's agendas- celebrating diversity and increasing confidence in students to follow their dreams is crucial in achieving this."
