Update from EFC-MAYM Stewards. God’s blessings are abundant! EFC-MAYM continues to be blessed by God. The Stewards Board recently reviewed the 2014 financials and we were excited to see that, once again, we ended the year in the black. Best of all, none of the reserve funds were needed to do so. Praise the Lord! The stewards reserve fund has now grown to about $62,000.00. As promised 6 years ago, we are returning a portion of these funds back to ministry...

 
Linvilles Fully Funded! We are pleased to announce that Michael, Kathryn, Nehemiah, and Asher Linville are now what we call “fully funded.” In other words, they have raised all the funds needed in order to proceed to their place of service. Friends Summit is a national conference for young adults to experience how the reality of God’s kingdom is calling the Friends Church in mission and engaging us with passion. Update on The Journey. 
It was so exciting to see almost ninety people from five areas and fifteen local churches, including several Barclay students, join in on the first session of Introduction to the Journey: A Disciple Making Pathway on January 24th…and plans are in the works for Session Two! 
The first time Session Two is held, it will be in Wichita on Friday evening, April 24th through Saturday afternoon, April 25th. This will be specifically for those who have participated in Session One, who have taken intentional steps out onto the disciple making trail to seize the mission of Jesus and learn their culture and context, AND who desire to take their experiences back...

An update on the official requests that have come in from Burundi to the EFC-MAYM Missions Mobilizers for the new Burundi Sister Church Program. See 2014 September Burundi Sister Church as finalized summer 2014. Please prayerfully consider whether your church or individuals might be willing to partner with this and/or other Burundi church building projects to bless our friends for the sake of the Great Commission.
