LABELHORDE

AZ'S Hautest Fashion Directory Update

Our amazing web coder fixed a bunch of the issues we were having! One of the fixes allows me to go in and edit people's listings for them if they need help. So, I went in and cleaned it up a bit. I removed people from incorrect categories they may have mistakenly put themselves in so the directory should be much more accurate now. There are a few more directory fixes to go (listed below in the Buggin Out section), but things are coming along. Shortly after we work out the bugs, we will add the Events Calendar and the Classifieds section!

In the mean time, please add your business to the directory. It is really user friendly and works just like any other site that you have to register for like Facebook or Ebay, but for those of you who need instruction, I've included them at the end of this newsletter.

Thanks again for your patience and support.

BUGGIN OUT!

Check the LabelHorde Facebook page for updates on these bug fixes.

We are still in beta and just like any new website, we are finding some bugs and trying to squash them as soon as we can. We will keep you updated on these fixes in this newsletter and on our FB page. Below you will find the current issues we're working on.

  • When you register for a listing, please save your password somewhere so you don’t forget it because for the time being, there is no password recovery feature.

  • The site will time out after 15 minutes of inactivity so when you register to our directory, please allow time to do the entire listing at once so you don’t get kicked off. It should only take you 5-10 minutes.

  • The Standard $9.95/month Model listing allows you to enter 10 photos, however, for some reason the site isn’t allowing you to save them properly at the moment. Please select the free option for now and when we fix this, we will let you know and you can change your listing type at that time if you want more photos.

HOW TO ADD YOUR FASHION BUSINESS TO THE LABELHORDE DIRECTORY

If you own a fashion business or work freelance in fashion in Arizona (designer/brand, photographer, stylist, sewing contractor, model, etc…), you should be listed in LabelHorde: AZ’s Hautest Local Fashion Directory.

It is free to be listed and you can upload and manage your own listing. Here’s how it works:

  1. Go to www.labelhorde.com

  2. Click on Register (upper right hand corner of the screen – blue button)

  3. Enter your name, email and create a password (note your password so you can use it later to login), agree to the terms and hit Register at the bottom of the page.

  4. You will receive an email with a link from LabelHorde. Follow the link which will take you to the LabelHorde site. Follow the instructions on screen to enter your business information to the directory. It will instruct you to click on the menu button on the upper right corner. From there, you will create a new listing and follow the prompts.

  5. You will first be asked what kind of listing you want. You have the option of simply selecting a Free Listing, a Standard Listing for $9.95/month which allows you to also include an image (logo or photo of your work) and a description about your business as well as 25 searchable keywords. If you are a model, you will want to scroll down and select the Free Model Listing (which allows you to have 1 photo) or Upgraded Model Listing which is $9.95 and allows you to have 10 photos. We offer a free listing so that we are a fair representation of all local fashion businesses, but the $9.95/month listing is a great way to show your support for what we do and keep us in business as well as allow you to show off what you do with a photo of your work and a description of your services.

  6. Please note that you will be asked to select categories. Please only select the categories that you would like your business listing to appear under when someone clicks on that category. For example, if you are a Designer, click on the Design Category and select which type of sub category you fit into (Apparel Designer, Accessory Designer, Textile Designer etc…) There will be additional sub categories that you will be asked to select that apply to your business. For instance, if you make Junior clothing, select this category.  Please only select categories that your business fits into. For example: If you’ve participated in a fashion week, do not select Fashion Week as one of the categories you should be listed under. You would only select the Fashion Week category if your business is the company that produces Fashion Week. You should only select the things that your business actually does/offers. The way that the directory works is that visitors to the directory will click on the category they wish to search… for instance if they want to know about all of the fashion weeks in Arizona, they will click on Fashion Week… and the only things listed in that category should be Tucson Fashion Week, Phoenix, Fashion Week and Scottsdale Fashion Week. Your clothing brand should not pop up in the Fashion Week section. It should only appear under the Design section in the category that describes exactly what you make.

  7. Once you have submitted your directory information, we get a notification and we have to approve your listing. If it looks like you have entered in all of your information and have selected the appropriate categories, we will approve it and it will then show up in our directory.
