Dear Hiram families,
I hope this email finds you well. We are excited about next week’s Spring Break (March 9-13) and the arrival of warmer weather.
The spring semester is particularly important in preparing your student to return to Hiram College next fall. It’s time to start thinking about your FAFSA application, registering for classes and housing arrangements.
Please take note of the following important deadlines:
- FAFSA priority deadline: March 15, 2015
- National Survey of Student Engagement (freshmen) or the MAP-Works survey (sophomores and juniors) deadline: March 29, 2015
- Class registration deadline: April 3, 2015
- Housing sign-up: April 9, 2015
 Over the course of the spring semester, your student will have the chance to participate in the “Hiram Amazing Race†by meeting these deadlines. For each milestone completed on time, your son or daughter will be entered in a drawing to win gift cards and the grand prize of a $1,000 scholarship.
Departments across campus will be in touch with your student as these deadlines draw nearer, but know that your continued support and encouragement from home is vital in keeping them on top of these important matters. It is easy for students to get caught up with the daily routine of studying, sports and extracurricular activities. We thank you for the role you play in keeping them focused on their future.
