ARE YOU INTERESTED IN CRICKET ?
Boxted Cricket Club who can trace their roots back to 1830 is busy preparing for the new season starting in April.
We run a Development team on Saturdays, which includes youngsters starting out in adult cricket; there are Father and Sons playing together. We also have two teams on Sunday and a Midweek XI
We also have a thriving junior section playing competitive league cricket for boys and girls at various age levels as well as Kwik Cricket (softball) for school years 6 and below.
We have been awarded Clubmark accreditation from the ECB, which demonstrates we provide cricket to all age groups in a safe and caring environment. We have a team of qualified coaches and run training sessions indoors in the winter and outdoors in the Summer.
We are always happy to welcome new members of all ages, both playing or helping in the background.
Perhaps you are new to the area or would like a change of club, or haven’t played for a while and fancy the odd game. If you are a complete beginner our coaches will give you loads of help
Off the field our members help with preparing the pitch, assisting with training sessions, making teas, running the bar, umpiring, scoring, organising social events etc, etc. There is always plenty to do and an extra pair of hands is always welcome.
If you just want to watch a match as a spectator then just come along, you can always enjoy a drink in our fully licenced bar
If you are interested in joining us please contact our Development Manager
